In most families, there are times when communication breaks down

and negative patterns emerge, such as:

  • Family conflict

  • Adverse communication patterns

  • Tantrums

  • Boundaries & separations

  • Poor academic performance

  • Anger & aggression

  • School attendance issues

  • Issues of trust & disclosure

  • Single-parent households

  • Grandparent or non-parent guardians

Contemporary families face a great many stressors.  Seeing a family therapist can provide a new vantage point that allows fixed patterns to become more malleable.  My approach focuses on helping each family member contextualize their own experience within a family-wide dynamic in an attempt to see the whole as more than the sum of its parts.
